A LETTER FROM OUR VICE PRESIDENT OF RECRUITMENT
Dear Potential New Member,
Welcome to Western Michigan University!

We are so excited to welcome you to campus and introduce you to our amazing Panhellenic community. My name is Elise Schrubbe, and I am honored to serve as the Vice President of Recruitment for the Western Michigan University Panhellenic Council. This community has had a tremendous impact on my college experience, and I am thrilled to share it with you.

Our Panhellenic community is made up of seven incredible chapters, each filled with strong, supportive women who are excited to welcome you. While every chapter has its own unique traditions and personality, they are all united by shared values of sisterhood, leadership, service, and community. Joining a sorority is about much more than finding a place to belong. It is an opportunity to grow as a leader, build lifelong friendships, and become part of a network of women who will support and encourage you throughout your college journey. Our goal is to help you find a chapter where you feel valued, supported, and truly at home. The women in our community are involved across campus in athletics, student organizations, academics, leadership roles, and volunteer service. No matter your interests, you will find women who inspire you and help you become the best version of yourself. When you join a Panhellenic chapter, you become part of a lifelong sisterhood that will celebrate your successes, support you through challenges, and create memories that will last far beyond your time at WMU.

Although recruitment can feel a little overwhelming at first, it is also an exciting opportunity to meet new people and learn more about yourself. Throughout the process, our Panhellenic Council and dedicated Rho Gammas will be there to guide and support you every step of the way. Trust the process, keep an open mind, and most importantly, be yourself. This community has given me lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and countless opportunities for growth. I hope it can do the same for you.
