Greek Week

Greek Week is one of the biggest events of the year put on by the College Panhellenic Council, as well as the other three Greek councils at WMU. Each chapter is randomly put into teams with other fraternities and sororities where they must work together to raise money for a great cause, participate in events every day of the week (including Greek Games, Dodgeball, Musical Chairs, Tug-o-War, and more!) and finally at the end of the week, perform a choreographed dance routine/skit with their team to go along with the weeks theme. Everyone looks forward to this time of year because it is a fun and interactive way to get to know people from other chapters!

Service Events

Each semester there is one large service event put on by the Panhellenic Council. These events are put on in order to give back to our community or people who are in need. Our most recent service event was the Polar Plunge which is to benefit the Special Olympics, where volunteers jump into a freezing cold pool of water. other members to get to know a little bit about Greek Life as well as Campus Life. Greek 101

Greek 101 is a one-day event where the new members from each chapter get together to learn about Greek Life at WMU. This 4-hour event includes breakout sessions to teach freshman and new members about the other Greek Councils, safety on campus, study tips, Greek Unity, and much more! This event is very beneficial to all chapter members to get to know a little bit about Greek Life as well as Campus Life.

Panhellenic Sisterhood

Panhellenic sisterhood events are a great way for us to express greek unity. Once a month the Panhellenic council puts on an event so that members of the Panhellenic community have the opportunity to meet new girls from outside of their own chapter. Previous events that have been held include blanket making for YWCA, game night, and an ice cream social study event for final preparation. All of these events have provided us the opportunities to get to know each other more and learn from other amazing women who are also apart of Greek Life!
